Terms and conditions

The following general terms and conditions apply to all dealings with the 40th European Library Automation Group Conference 2016 (ELAG 2016) c/o The Royal Library at elag2016.org unless otherwise stipulated.

The ELAG 2016 organization team will do its utmost to provide correct information about the registration and event in general. We make reservations against printing errors.
Should you find faults or encounter problems, please contact us on elag2016@kb.dk.


Following credit cards are accepted with no extra charges: Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, JBC Union Pay, and American Express.

Right of withdrawal and return of goods

In accordance with the Sale of Goods Act’s exceptions regarding recreational activities, your registration fee is non-refundable if you choose to withdraw your registration.

Registration of information

We take protection of all personal information such as name, e-mail address, postal address or telephone number very seriously.
ELAG 2016 will keep information concerning the registration, i.e. your name, institution, address and invoice in our files for maximum five years, in accordance with Danish legislation. The information will not be passed on to a third party, except to the ELAG program committee, who may use it for invitations to future ELAG conferences.
When paying by credit card, all information is registered on a secure server, where it will be encrypted during money transfer.


In case of complaints, please direct your complaint to elag2016@kb.dk. Your complaint must be submitted within reasonable time after you have discovered the fault, or should have discovered it upon normal checking of the registration. A complaint will be dealt with soonest possible. Always remember to state your reason for making the complaint.


In order to make reservations on elag2016.org you must be minimum 18 years old and agree to the above terms and conditions

elag2016.org cannot be held responsible for delays or virus incurred as a result of use of e-mail or downloads.
elag2016.org is subject to any laws and regulations concerning product liability, at any time in force in Denmark or EU.
Any disputes and legal proceedings must be decided by a Danish court of law, in accordance with Danish legislation.
